Week 7 Action Bro

Week 7 was pretty intense. The Cleveland Browns beat the New Orleans Saints, the Oakland Raiders stomped on the Denver high school football team (Denver Broncos), and the Patriots snuck out of San Diego with a close win.

Top Performers:

Roddy White (WR - Atlanta)
My bro Roddy White absolutely teared it up today with 11 receptions, 201 yards, and 2 touchdowns. 157 of those yards came with more than 5 minutes left in the second quarter, my man went off today keep it up bro.

Kenny Britt (WR - Tennessee)
Kenny Britt had his best game of his life today coming up with 7 receptions, 225 yards and 3 touchdowns! This bro exploded on the field today giving the Titans the win over the Eagles. Britt is looking even more like a solid number 1 receiver for the Titans

DeAngelo Hall (DB - Washington)
This guy still has it. DeAngelo Hall came up with 4 interceptions today against the Chicago Bears, tying an NFL record for most interceptions in a game. Hall is playing pretty good this year and he was just all over the place today, making the Chicago receivers look silly.

 Darren McFadden (RB - Oakland)
D- Mac is back in business coming off of his hamstring injury. He ran for 165 yards, caught 2 balls for 31 yards, and had 4 touchdowns (3 rush, 1 receiving). He was part of the absolute massacre that the Raiders put on the Broncos. It looks like McFadden is turning into a legit starting running back and one of the top ones in the league.

Scores:

New England (23) vs. San Diego (20)

This game went right down to the wire. The Patriots looked like they were going to have control of the game from the start with the Chargers making costly mistakes by turning the ball over and giving the Pats' great field position. The Patriot offense didn't do much all day. eTom Brady threw for only 159 yards and a touchdown. That was about it for the offense with the running game only producing 51 yards on the ground. Philip Rivers of the Chargers threw for 336 yards with a touchdown and an interception. That was about it for the Chargers' offense too.
Both defenses played decent. The Patriots defense came up with 4 turnovers. The Chargers' defense didn't have any turnovers, but had pressure on Tom Brady the whole game and came up with a key fourth down stop. The Chargers lost by literally a football's length when kicker Kris Brown hit the cross bar on what would've been the tying field goal. What to look for now is how San Diego will come back from this loss and when they will jump into their usual mid-season form. The Patriots keep winning and as long as they keep up with the New York Jets, I don't see why they wouldn't be Super Bowl favorites.

Oakland (59) vs. Denver (14)

What an absolute shit show in Denver today. The Oakland Raiders, Yes the Oakland Raiders pounded on the Broncos 59-14, scoring 20+ points in the first and third quarters. This is an absolute embarrassment for the Broncos. Quarterback Kyle Orton only completed 12 passes for 198 yards and 2 touchdowns. Knowshon Moreno ran for 53 yards and scored on two receiving touchdowns. The Broncos defense was inexistent. It was just a poor effort all around with no tackling and I got the feeling that they stopped trying before the first quarter ended.
The Raiders finally had an offensive explosion. Darren McFadden combined for 196 total yards and 4 touchdowns. Quarterback Jason Campbell threw for 204 yards and 2 touchdowns and he looked really poised in the pocket, finally. The Broncos are now in an extreme hole in the AFC-West and the Raiders have already won three games this year... What is going on in the NFL these days bro?

Cleveland (30) vs. New Orleans (17)

This is not a spelling error, the Cleveland Browns did beat the New Orleans Saints 30-17. The Cleveland defense gave their offense support by picking off Drew Brees four times, two of them returned for touchdowns by David Bowens.
Along with his 4 interceptions, Drew Brees threw for 356 yards and 2 touchdowns. Marques Colston had 10 receptions for 112 yards and a touchdown. On the other side of the ball, Colt McCoy was 9 for 16 passing for 74 yards. Peyton Hillis ran for 69 yards and a touchdown and Reggie Hodges had a 68 yard run. The Saints are 4-3 in a pretty tough spot. The Tampa Bay Bucs look like a team on the rise in the NFC-South and the Atlanta Falcons look like they are going to lock up the division, so all the Saints can hope for is to get a Wild Card Spot. For the Cleveland Browns, this might as well be the biggest win in team history. The Browns are a young team and all they can do now is get better.
