The Boston Blazers season kicks off on January 8th away vs Philadelphia. For those of you who don't know who the Boston Blazers are let me try to put it into perspective. Its lacrosse, in a hockey arena (minus the ice), on steroids. When i say steroids I'm talking about roidrage. The ball moves 2x faster than outdoor lacrosse and the hits are even harder.
Last season i went to see the Blazers after receiving tickets from a radio station. Little did i know the Blazers biggest rival is the Rochester Knighthawks. Every 3 minutes the game would stop for the good fun. Shawn Evans (5'9" / 200 lbs) on the Knighthawks fought at least half of the Boston Blazer team, obviously losing every time due to his lack of genitalia, but thats beside the point.
The fact of the matter is, if you love lacrosse, love big hits, and have a craving for seeing fists flying, I seriously suggest buying a ticket to at least one of the Boston Blazers 2011 season games. You can pick up a ticket at the game for under $30. And if you buy them in advance they offer plenty of package deals. So if you want to go with your friends and get some free burritos feel free.
